Alberta invited 148 Express Entry candidates with CRS scores as low as 302. Alberta revealed the details of its June 29 draw.
The (AINP) Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program invited 148 Express Entry candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores as low as 302. These candidates may now apply for a provincial nomination PNP through the Alberta Express Entry stream.
Compared to Alberta’s previous Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw this month, this draw had fewer candidates and a slightly higher CRS requirement.
If we compare Alberta’s previous draw for the provincial nominee program, this new draw has fewer candidates and a bit higher Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
Alberta has so far invited 2,432 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination (PNP) since it resumed invitation rounds in January 2021. It had taken a temporary halt in the latter months of 2020 due to Covid-19 and the job market in the province.
Alberta is authorized to issue 6,250 nominations in the year 2021. Not everyone invited to apply for Alberta’s PNP will receive a provincial nomination. Some may not fill out the application, or they may not meet the eligibility criteria of the province. Also, not everyone who gets Alberta’s PNP will get the permanent residency as they will have to be selected in federal draws and process their application under the Express Entry.
